Star Base Entry Doors – Large-Scale Scenic Prop

To evoke an immersive and ominous atmosphere, Craig Tinder designed and fabricated this 8-foot Star Base entryway, inspired by the structures of Endor. Constructed from layered sheet foam for depth and dimension, the doors were finished with creative detailing—including repurposed clear plastic strawberry containers as control panels. Battery-powered LED lights were added to enhance visual interest and complete the dramatic effect.
