This immersive wall display recreates the cinematic effect of lightsabers melting through metal, crafted by Craig Tinder using inventive, low-tech materials. Built from panels lined with reflective aluminum foil, the bubbling molten texture was formed using spray foam, repurposed water bottles, and Halloween string lights. Carefully hand-painted to simulate glowing heat and cooling crust, the effect is completed with a battery-powered lightsaber embedded in the wall. The result is a dramatic, light-reactive installation that captures the essence of Star Wars practical effects.
