Darth Vader Prop – Full-Scale Custom Recreation

Recreating one of cinema’s most iconic villains from scratch, Craig Tinder built this full-size Darth Vader using measurements based on actor David Prowse. The torso was formed from a custom cardboard frame, with EVA foam and black tape used to shape the armor. Belt components and chest details were hand-fabricated, while the tunic and cape were custom-patterned and sewn to complete the build. The result is a visually striking and proportionally accurate representation of the Dark Lord of the Sith. Craig had the opportunity to share his recreation with the actual David Prowse and was happy to receive his personal approval!
