Droid Parts Wagon – Functional Display Prop

Designed as a mobile platform for BB-8, this Droid Parts Wagon was created by Craig Tinder to discreetly house a rechargeable battery during events and crowded environments. Originally a standard garden wagon, it was transformed using hardboard wall panels, weathering techniques, and practical detailing. A coat of mud dulled the original finish, while added “droid” components—including a repurposed “For Sale” sign—completed the worn, utilitarian look. Both functional and thematic, the wagon serves as a clever nod to the "salvage" nature of the films.
